Overview
"Free Hand" is a digital platform created for Yad Tamer as part of the Max Impact project. It helps individuals in crisis by allowing them to identify their needs and find support networks on their own.
Unlike the Yad Tamer app, which provides long-term and daily support, "Free Hand" offers new users an initial overview of their situation to help them start managing their crisis effectively.
Project Goals:
The goal of "Free Hand" is to empower users to recognize their needs, connect with support networks, and manage their crises effectively over time.

PERSONA
Research and Interviews:
Sharpening solutions with real insights.
We began the project by conducting extensive interviews with both operational staff within the Yad Tamar organization and families who had previously benefited from their services. These interviews were crucial in refining our solution, allowing us to identify key pain points and prioritize features that would have the most significant impact.

During the design process, I created an inspiration board that compiled various screens and elements from diverse sources. This board was instrumental in shaping the visual direction and features of the tool, ensuring that the final design was both innovative and aligned with users' needs.

Logo Design

The logo showcases an abstract open hand, symbolizing support, compassion, and empathy—core values of the organization as it assists individuals in crisis.
The hand embodies the commitment to offering help and creating a welcoming environment.
The use of handwritten text adds a personal touch, strengthening the emotional connection with the audience. The font, inspired by the "Ot Chaim" project, comes from the handwriting of Emanuel Flaka of blessed memory, a victim of October 7, 2023.
This element honors his memory and reflects the organization’s dedication to preserving the legacy of loved ones.
